There is one singular, genuine, and active God who is boundless, everlasting, all-powerful, and perfectly holy, truthful, and loving. God is the Creator and sovereign ruler over the entire cosmos. He has existed for all eternity in three distinct persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons are of equal status, and together they form a unified and indivisible God.
The Holy Bible, divinely inspired and written by human authors, is God's revelation of Himself to humanity. Its true author is God Himself, and its purpose is to guide individuals towards salvation. The Bible is absolute truth and should not be subject to personal interpretations. Its infallibility stems from its divine origin. As affirmed in 2 Peter 1:20-21, no prophecy of Scripture comes from private interpretation, as it is the result of holy men of God being moved by the Holy Spirit.
In relation to this verse, the respected Bible commentator Albert Barnes notes that it does not imply any special authority granted to the church for providing official interpretations. There is no indication that the church is entrusted with such power. It would be a misinterpretation to assume that this verse suggests any group of people is exempt from the responsibility to prayerfully consider and openly explore God's revelation.
It is crucial to recognize that human teachings do not always align with the doctrines of the Bible. However, all Scripture is inspired by God and is valuable for providing doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Its purpose is to equip the people of God, enabling them to live righteous lives filled with good works.
The Bible stands as God's message to humanity, revealing the mind of the Lord and containing wisdom that leads to salvation through faith. Our theological understanding acknowledges that it represents a supernatural revelation from the Creator to His Creation.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is equal in essence and authority with the Father. He lived a perfect, sinless human life and willingly gave Himself as the flawless atonement for the sins of humanity through His crucifixion. After three days, He rose triumphantly from the dead, demonstrating His authority over sin and death. Following His resurrection, He ascended to heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God, serving as our advocate and intercessor. One day, He will return to earth as the supreme King and Lord, to establish His eternal reign.
In His earthly mission, Jesus voluntarily entered our world as fully human, while remaining fully divine. His life, death, and resurrection are the cornerstone of our salvation, and His ongoing work as our advocate continues to uphold us before God.
The Holy Spirit, who is God, holds equal standing with the Father and the Son as the third divine person of the Trinity. His role in the world is to illuminate individuals to their need for Jesus Christ, convicting them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit empowers Christians to live righteously, granting them understanding of spiritual truths and guiding them in the pursuit of what is morally right.
When a person acknowledges Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit enters their life, indwelling them. This indwelling is essential to salvation and serves as a sign of it. The Holy Spirit also bestows spiritual gifts to believers for the purpose of mutual service, enabling them to lead lives of holiness and effectiveness. Through the Spirit’s work, believers are empowered to glorify God and fulfill His will on earth.
Humanity has been created in the image of God, reflecting His character and bearing a unique place of supreme importance among all of God’s creations. While humans possess immense potential for goodness, our nature is marred by sin—a disposition of defiance against God. This rebellion is reflected in our treatment of others, often marked by self-centeredness, and in our rejection of God’s rightful worship and love.
As a result of this disobedience, humanity became separated from the intimate relationship with God that was originally intended. The greatest and most pressing need of humanity is to receive forgiveness for sin and to be reconciled with God, thus restoring the harmonious relationship that was lost. Through this reconciliation, humans can fulfill their ultimate purpose: to worship God and experience the fullness of joy in His presence for all eternity.
Salvation is a gracious gift from God to humanity. It is only through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, who acted as our representative and substitute, that the guilt, punishment, and power of sin can be removed. God’s boundless love is most profoundly revealed in this act of sacrifice. The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in applying the transformative impact of Jesus' death to each believer’s life. No amount of self-improvement or good deeds can atone for our sins; salvation is attainable only by placing our trust in Jesus Christ, who offers God’s forgiveness.
The Holy Spirit empowers sinners to repent and have faith in Jesus Christ, emphasizing that salvation is entirely a result of God’s grace, received through faith alone—not by human merit or works. Thus, salvation involves acknowledging our sins, turning from them, and trusting in the person and redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ sinless life, we are granted righteousness before God, and through His substitutionary death, our sins are removed.
Though we now experience the blessings of union with Christ and a secure relationship with God, we eagerly await the full realization of our hope in Christ’s return, the resurrection of our bodies, and eternal life with Him.
The church is a unified body, known as the Body of Christ, comprising believers from diverse backgrounds, languages, cultures, and nations. Each local congregation is a reflection of this universal church, formed by those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Though made up of many members, the church is one entity, united through a shared belief in Christ. The church is called to gather regularly for fellowship, teaching, prayer, and communion. Its mission is to carry on Jesus’ work by proclaiming the gospel, discipling believers, and demonstrating God's love to the world.
Amazing Love Mission is primarily a missionary endeavor, operating independently in governance but unified with our church, missionary partners, and fellow Christians worldwide in upholding the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The visible church represents a community of believers centered around Christ and His teachings. Established by God to bear witness to Him, the church actively seeks to expand His kingdom. Both men and women are encouraged to use their gifts within this community, contributing to its growth in love. Scripture indicates distinct roles for men and women within church leadership and marriage, which are complementary but not interchangeable. We are committed to respecting these differences in relationships of mutual dependence and support.
Human beings were intricately created with both a physical body and an eternal soul. When the physical body ceases to exist, the soul endures and enters into an everlasting state. For those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work, heaven becomes their eternal home—a destination of unparalleled joy and fulfillment.
